"Leontine" is a portrait of my friend Leontine Morris. The materials include vitreous glass and ceramic tile, rocks and broken dishes. The ornate frame once contained a reproduced portrait of an 18th century couple and it got me thinking: who gets honored by such a frame? I chose my friend Leontine.
